weekending
Friday started early, in Newtown shopping for art supplies and a quick back street detour round the beautiful old churchyard there which has this amazing fig tree.
It finished very late having birthday drinks for three Leo friends, too much fun (!), such lovely girls it was so nice to laugh and talk and laugh together.
Saturday was sport, one win one loss, and then a much needed quiet time watching the Olympics. I loved the opening ceremony. Loved that landscape and the costumes and the young dancers.
Sunday I walked the dog and then had an empty house so grabbed the chance to block print some fabric with my new favourite designs.
I really hope your weekend was just as much fun!

ReplyDeleteYour weekend sounds nice. I love the flower arrangement and the photo of the fig outside the church.
ReplyDeleteDD had an excursion to Newtown in 2009. She was several months pregnant. We walked for both sides of King st, up and down, from pub to pub so she could use the toilets!
