Happy Easter to all. We had a lovely, large family get together last night with nieces and nephews, mothers and brothers, sisters, cousins, daughters and sons. So nice to catch up with everyone. Now we're looking forward to lots of quiet, pottery time, a bit of knitting, maybe a swim and a bit of chocolate this long, long weekend.

Here are some of the close up photos I took of different banksia cones down south. Aren't the patterns and colours wonderful.

  10. I am absolutely aghast at how beautiful and varied these flowers are. I had little appreciation for banksias until now. I agree with all of the other commentators -- they are really inspiring for fabric patterns. Thanks for sharing!
